THE DETAILS MATTER

Intentional Designer

Recovering Perfectionist

THE DETAILS GUY

Follower of the Feeling

Aligned Design

I've been a student of feeling my entire life. Not formally, experientially. Music that moved through me before I understood why. Spaces that felt different the moment I walked into them. Objects that resonated and others that didn't, regardless of what anyone said about them. The work I do whether it's designing a home, advising on a decision, or helping someone figure out why their space doesn't feel the way they want it to, is rooted in the same principle I've always lived by: The Details Matter. Not because perfection is the goal. Because intention is.

DESIGN

A home is never really finished. Seasons change. Holidays arrive.
Life circumstances shift. And every change brings another round of decisions
that have to be made alone, without a professional perspective, and at full retail price.

Aligned Design changes those conditions.

A trusted second set of eyes. Better pricing on the stores and products you
already know and love, and access to sources you may not have found on your own.

Ongoing support for a home that keeps evolving, so the weight of every decision
doesn't have to rest entirely on you.

I'm maurice

Not formally trained.
But deeply formed.

I came to design not through a degree, but through a lifelong sensitivity to how intentional choices create feeling. Whether it was music, film, fashion, or architecture, I've always felt the difference between a room someone thought through and one they just filled. TDM is what happens when that instinct meets structure.

Brand Partnerships
& Collaborations

I partner with home and lifestyle brands whose quality I'd stand behind regardless of the relationship. If your product belongs in a well-considered space and you want an audience that actually buys, let's talk.
