What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are business consultants who help entrepreneurs start, scale, and shift their businesses. We support them with efficient systems, simple and repeatable processes, and effective strategies designed to help them build a foundation fashioned for sustainability. We've served in over 30 industries and supported various entities, from sole proprietors to corporate clients.Tell us about yourself
After working for my wife and supporting her in successfully building and scaling her business, we were both approached by friends and family to support them in building their own. We're motivated to share how business has changed our lives and provide support to others so they can experience their own version of it. It isn't about how cool it is to be an entrepreneur or the amount of money one can make; it is about leveraging business to have a positive impact on your life and the lives of those you serve.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I think staying true to who we are and within our integrity despite our success has been our biggest accomplishment. Continuing to focus on how we serve, translating that into other people's businesses, and seeing them thrive as a result has been a great accomplishment as well.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The gift and the curse of business ownership is that you are in control. It means you're carrying a heavy load of responsibility and balancing many roles. It is so much more than simply providing a product or service, and it is on you to ensure that it is of the highest quality and experience every step of the way.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Just get started. There is no need to have it all figured out because you won't anyway.
No matter how prepared you think you are, your idea will inevitably change. Be open to it.
Understand the benefits of owning a business, and it isn't wrong to take advantage of them.
