The Brains Behind Our Rebrand

We don't believe in spending a bunch of money (or really even focusing) on the branding side of your business until you have paying customers, service offers, and income being generated. We don't just preach it, we practice it! So that is exactly what we did. After nearly a year into selling our services, we decided to pull the trigger on professional branding and photography. We're pulling back the curtain on the process and the INCREDIBLE people who have brought our vision of the Pennington Perspective brand to life!

Branding (logos, color, font types, website) - Madison Terry, @bymadison.jpeg

We found Madison through Jacqueline Relke (@lilrelks) and we immediately knew her work was what we were looking for. We wanted a "sophisticated" look, but not too luxurious or polished (because that isn't us). When she presented the "Dignified Edge" option, we knew it was the one! Honestly, she nailed it and fully embodied our inclination towards "nicer things" while still capturing our edginess.

So we had the logos, fonts, colors, and a website concept, the next step was to bring the branding to life. We used Madison's Art Direction to inspire a photoshoot that would fully embody everything she had drawn on paper for us. We were so fortunate to find Daryl in the middle of the process and he proved invaluable for the production of our brand photoshoot. He did complete styling (all outfits for Alisha, and multiple for Maurice) including accessories and posing. He also brought together a phenomanl photographer and incredible human, Aubree Tippetts (@aubree.photos) to capture our vision. The shoot was also supported by the talented Alyssa Copham (@alyssacopham) who provided videography, a rockstar makeup artist Angel Sanchez (@angelbrimua), and a multi-talented production assistant in Darleen Bland (_.darleenie._). The photoshoot took place at Afternoon Studio (@afternoonstudio).

We now feel like the brand personfies where we are going with Pennington Perspective. It fully captures us as people, and the work that we do. We are so grateful for our incredible team that helped us get here and are beyond excited to carry it into 2022 with us!
